Purchase fresh produce items at farmers markets.
Purchase locally processed meat, poultry, and aquaculture products from area butchers, processors and food stores.
Support restaurants that prepare and serve local farm products.
Purchase fresh fruit, vegetable, meat, and other farm products from Kentucky Farm Bureau Certified Roadside Markets.
Look for the Kentucky department of agriculture "Kentucky-Where Quality Grows" label of origin in supermarkets, groceries and food stores when making purchase choices.
Subscribe to "The Farmers Pride weekly agricultural newspaper to learn more about issues facing farmers and farm communities.
Support the purchasing options of your community schools, hospitals, parks, prisons and other institution to buy locally produced farm food products.
Shop at co-op and health food stores in your community.
Purchase a share in a community supported agriculture system by subscribing to a weekly basket of seasonal, fresh fruit an vegetable products.
Teach your family and friends that conscious food choices can make a difference in their health as well as the economic health of area farms and communities.
