Partners for Family Farms is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to sustain farmlife and farmland through the following goals: Provide educational materials that improve the understanding of the role of agriculture in local economies. Support and promote successful diversification by farmers. Create linkages among urban consumers and family farms by supporting farmers in markets and other opportunities for products to be consumed locally. Educate governments, restaurants and institutions about their role in purchsing local family farm products. Encourage policy makers to consider the role of Family Farms.

• Supporting: local farmers market development, Central KY Harvest Festival, Ohio Valley Harvest Festival and direct marketing alternatives.
• Educating farmers and landowners on farmland preservation issues.
• Developing guidelines for farmers to understand government regulations and how to get their products to the consumer.
• Educating individuals, organizations, businesses, institutions, schools and communities on how to support and build opportunities for family farmers.
